What is Search?

If Search has been opened for you and you know that you have not set this search tool on browsers, it means that a browser hijacker has entered the computer. How does Search work?

Since so many users claim that they have not set Search on their browsers, there are no doubts that it appears there without permission. Unfortunately, it affects all browsers to make sure that users use it as a default search engine. As has already been mentioned, it might be extremely dangerous to do that. It has been found that Search shows untrustworthy search results. These search results are ordinary advertisements looking like good search results. If a user clicks on such an ad, he/she is taken to a third-party website. In other words, a redirection happens right away. Unfortunately, users might be redirected to bad websites, as has been mentioned in the preceding paragraph. These websites might not only contain malware, but might also seek to find out some information about users. In most cases, they are interested in personal information because it is the most valuable and can be sold expensively. You will be safe only when you delete Search from browsers, so go to do that immediately.

How is Search distributed? Search is a component of a browser hijacker. These threats usually travel with free programs so that they could quickly spread with their help. It should be possible to cancel the installation of an untrustworthy program in some cases, but users need to be very attentive and read all the information they find on the installation window. Sadly, this might not be enough too, so it is recommended to use a security application too.

How can I uninstall Search from browsers?

It will not be a very quick process to delete Search from all browsers manually, so, in case you do not have time to implement the Search removal yourself, it would be clever of you to let an automatic application to remove Search for you. This will take only a few seconds.
