Nixunhuan.com is a doubtful website and a browser hijacker. It can infect your computer when you install freeware in Default settings but you should be aware that it is not a computer virus. It will not directly harm your computer, but it’s categorized as a browser hijacker because it will hijack your browser and redirect you to weird websites. While Nixunhuan.com will not put your computer in danger directly, it can still cause some damage. Browser hijackers are known to redirect users to unsafe websites. Why do I need to uninstall Nixunhuan.com?
Nixunhuan.com can hijack your browser because you yourself install it. It’s not a computer virus so it needs permission from you. And you indirectly give it when you install freeware, that has Nixunhuan.com attached to it, in Default settings. All sort of items could be attached to freeware, not just Nixunhuan.com, and by choosing Default settings, you are giving those items the permission to install. That is why you need to use Advanced or Custom settings when installing freeware. Those settings allow you to see and deselect all added items. When you deselect them, you can proceed with the freeware installation without fear of installing unwanted items. Now that you know how it managed to install onto your computer, we suggest you delete Nixunhuan.com.
When this browser hijacker installs onto your computer, it will alter your browser’s settings. Your homepage and new tabs will be changed to Nixunhuan.com. It can attach itself to all leading browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari. Which means that no matter which browser you use, you will be redirected to Nixunhuan.com every time. It should also be noted that a lot of browser hijackers prevent you from changing the settings back so you will need to first remove Nixunhuan.com and only then restore the settings. The website is full advertisement content. It offers click-bait articles which could lead to weird websites. The search engine inserts a lot of advertisement content into the search results, and you will be led to websites that have little if anything to do with what you were looking for.
