Word Shark Removal Instructions

Word Shark (also known as WordShark and WordShark virus) is classified as advertising-supported software, which may seem as a really useful tool. However, you should not be deceived by its harmless looks. Word Shark will fill your computer’s system with suspicious commercial material; thus, Word Shark removal from your PC is highly advisable.

Why do I need to delete Word Shark from my computer?

However, among these results you will find ads that should not be trusted. Word Shark will continuously show irritating pop-up advertisements.

The program is not responsible for the promoted content; thus, we recommend to remove Word Shark before you have accidentally clicked one of the links. We have to warn you that even one visit to an infected website is enough to get serious malware to your PC. In addition, Word Shark may spy your browsing activities and later share the gathered data (your history, visited websites, and geographic location) with third parties. Word Shark can also use the collected information itself in order to make the ads more alluring. You might notice that you will see similar advertisements all the time that may be related to your recent search queries. If you want to protect yourself from an identity theft, you need to uninstall Word Shark without delay.

How can Word Shark hijack my PC?

You can find more information about Word Shark in its official page: wordsharkapp.com. However, that does not mean that you can trust the program because there is no direct link to the installation file. Word Shark uses their site solely for commercial reasons. If you already have the program in your PC, you should delete Word Shark because it is not trustworthy.

Word Shark is distributed via software bundles, which means that many computer users have no idea that they agree to install the program. You should stay away from unknown websites that offer freeware because their installation files usually include unwanted programs. If you choose the Advanced download method, the program will have to ask for your permission in order to install ‘bonus tools’. Thus, you should always select Advanced or Custom modes so that you can make sure that there are no additional programs hiding in the Installation Wizard. The application has probably infiltrated your PC via bundled freeware and no program that chooses this method can be trusted. Thus, you should get rid of Word Shark as soon as possible.
