It was most likely attached to some kind of freeware that you installed and that is why you are now stuck with it. News1free.org removal should not even be discussed, the sooner you take care of it, the better.

Should you be concerned about News1free.org?

All browser hijackers and adware spread the same way, they are attached to free software as additional items that you can choose to install if you want. Although they are optional, most users end up installing them without even knowing. In order to avoid these unwanted installations, all you need to do is choose Advanced or Custom settings of the freeware installation process and uncheck the boxes of those added items. This will ensure that those extra offers will not be allowed to install. You can then proceed to install the freeware. It is highly unlikely that you would choose to allow adware that uses such a sneaky method to infect your computer to stay. Remove News1free.org.

As soon as the adware enters your computer, it will start redirecting you.
