Ads by Max Adblock Removal Guide (Remove Ads by Max Adblock)

Ads by Max Adblock appear in your browsers, because you have Max Adblock installed on your PC. This browser extension is compatible only with old versions of Mozilla Firefox. The current version of the browser does not support it.

The reason for that may be the fact that the application is ad-supported. Although the program is promoted as a tool that can block unwanted adverts, it does the exact opposite. The adware floods you with unnecessary commercial data, not all of which is safe. We suggest that you uninstall Ads by Max Adblock without hesitation.

How does Max Adblock work?

Max Adblock, also known as Maximum Adblock, was developed by SecurityHeroes. It is promoted as a community-based ad blocking application. Many computer users may be tempted by this, however, the application does not follow through on its promises. Instead of blocking ads, it actually floods you with unreliable commercials. You will see pop-ups, banners, hyperlinks and other adverts no matter which site you open. Worse than that, some of these ads are not safe. You will be exposed to false advertising data and if you interact with it, you will get redirected to corrupted sites. If you do not want to deal with any of this, you should delete Ads by Max Adblock as soon as possible.

The ad-supported application is still presented on Mozilla’s webpage, at addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/maximum-adblock. However, if you try clicking on the Add to Firefox button, you will notice that it has been greyed out. Below it, you will see that the extension is not available for Firefox any longer. The description of the software presented on the page is not reliable. In fact, you should always be careful when dealing with programs that promise they can block adverts you see online, because oftentimes that is how adware disguises itself.
