Discovery App Removal Guide (Remove Discovery App)

Discovery App is promoted at ratediscoverymarket.com, however, ‘promoted’ may not be the best word to use in this case as the website contains very little information about the application. The site only states that you can discover more on the Web, if you use Discovery App.

It does not provide a download link either. This means that the program gets distributed with the help of free third party software. It is classified as potentially unwanted and ad-supported. If you have it installed on your computer, we suggest that you delete Discovery App as soon as you can.

How does Discovery App work?

Discovery App belongs to the Injekt family of adware as it was created using this engine. The same family also includes such applications as Assist Point, Sale Charger, Positive Finds, Deal Keeper, Safe Web, and more. All of these programs function in the same manner. They infiltrate your system and start flooding your browsers with ads. You will see pop-ups, coupons, banners, links, and other types of advertisements no matter which web browser you use or where you choose to go online. The extension will also monitor your Internet surfing habits and record your visited pages, clicks, searched terms, and so on. This data will be used for marketing purposes and it can also be sold to or shared with third parties.

Another concerning aspect of the adware is that some of the commercials that it exposes you to are fake. Not all ads brought to you by the application can actually be trusted as none of them are endorsed by it. Nobody checks the content of the advertisements that are shown to you. They could lead you to corrupted websites and expose you to various online scams. This may result in such unwanted outcomes as malware infections, data corruption, financial losses, and more. To prevent all of these consequences from actually happening, you need to terminate Discovery App without hesitation.
