Hoopla Search Removal Instructions (Uninstall Hoopla Search)

Hoopla Search comes from the BrowserFox adware family and is usually classified as a browser hijacker, however, it may be referred to as an ad-supported program as well. Once it gets access to your computer, it alters your browser settings.

It also takes other actions including flooding you with ads, causing redirects, and so on. These actions disrupt your online surfing and expose you to unsafe sites. Its main purpose is to make profit for its creators, while computer users do not benefit from it in any way. That is why you should not hesitate with Hoopla Search removal.

How does Hoopla Search work?

Just like other adware, Hoopla Search may be promoted as a tool that will improve your browsing and even help you save money while shopping online. That, however, does not mean that it actually follows through on its promises. You most likely ended up with this application, because you downloaded some other freeware. When you install free software, you are offered to install other programs. If you do not pay attention to the installation process, you agree to the addition of unfamiliar apps without even realizing it. That is exactly what the developers of the adware are counting on. Next time you deal with freeware, you should be especially attentive with its installation wizard and decline all optional offers that you see in it.

Once in the system, Hoopla Search replaces your home page, new tab, and default search provider with Nt.hooplasearch.com. The page contains a search box, date and time, background and other settings. The search box reroutes you to Search.yahoo.com, however, these results may include sponsored links. Other advertising content will appear on your visited sites in the form of pop-ups, banners, coupons, and so on. Keep in mind that it is not endorsed by the software, so it can be false. Clicking on fake ads could lead to you infecting your PC with malicious programs or wasting your money on non-existent products. If you wish to avoid that, you should delete Hoopla Search without delay.

How to remove Hoopla Search?

In order to remove Hoopla Search for good, you will have to uninstall the adware from your computer and fix your browser settings. You can complete both of these tasks manually or automatically.
