Incosic.com Removal Guide (Uninstall Incosic.com)

Incosic.com, also known as Incognito Search, is a web browser hijacker. It is promoted as a metasearch tool that can bring you results from the leading search engines. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The hijacker changes your browser settings and makes other unnecessary modifications. Most of them are aimed at advertising its sponsors and thus generating revenue for its creators, Brocode Limited.

There is nothing useful about the hijacker for computer users. It not only disrupts your surfing, but also exposes you to unsafe content. If you wish to go back to your original browser settings, you will have to remove Incosic.com.

How does Incosic.com work?

The Incosic.com website gets set as your home page and default search provider as soon as the hijacker enters your system. The page contains a search box and such search parameters as Web, Images, Videos, and News. If you make use of the search box, you get results from Google Custom Search. This means that in addition to Google results, you will also see sponsored links that belong to the hijacker. These links may not be especially relevant or even reliable.

Browser settings modification is not the only symptom that you will notice after the hijacker’s arrival. You will also encounter various pop-ups, links, banners, and other ads no matter where you go online. Some of these ads will be fake, which is why you should be careful with them. If you do not wish to deal with virtual scams, you should avoid all adverts altogether, at least until you terminate Incosic.com. Other hijacker’s symptoms include redirects, slow Internet connection, sluggish computer performance, and the use of tracking cookies. There is no reason why you should tolerate these inconveniences. That is why we recommend that you delete Incosic.com without hesitation.
