Remove Offersoft Ads

What are Offersoft Ads?

Offersoft Ads appear on your screen because you have an ad-supported application installed on your computer. It shows you various adverts labeled “Ads by Offersoft”, “Powered by Offersoft”, “Offersoft Ads” and similar. These commercials pop-up no matter where you choose to go online. The adware is compatible with all popular browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. It belongs to the Multiplug adware family and gets distributed via free third party software. We suggest that you get rid of Offersoft Ads without delay.

How does Offersoft work?

Offersoft was created using the JustPlugIt engine. Therefore, it is similar to such ad-supported programs as RightCoupon, EnormouSales, CrazyLowPrice, ShopMoreApp, BuyAndBrowse and some others. None of these applications can be directly downloaded from the Web. Instead, they are distributed with the help of Amonetize, InstallRex and Vittalia installers used on file sharing sites. It is possible to avoid adware by not making use of these pages. If, however, you are downloading freeware from unreliable sources, you should pay attention to every step of its installation wizard and decline all additional offers. To do that you have to choose Advanced or Custom installation mode.

As soon as Offersoft gets access to your PC, it starts flooding you with commercial content. You see pop-ups, links, banners and other types of ads everywhere you go online. These ads cannot be trusted. They may be fake and clicking on them could result in serious consequences including malware infections and financial losses.  If you want to make sure that does not happen, you should eliminate Offersoft Ads from your browser.

Another important thing you should know is that Offersoft usually does not come alone. The application enters your computer together with other potentially unwanted programs. It has been in particularly linked to such browser hijackers as MyStartSearch.com and Websearch.goodforsearch.info. If your home page and default search engine have been switched to one of these websites, it means that the hijacker is present in your system. You should reset your browsers after you delete Offersoft Ads, if you want to get rid of it.
