Remove Plus!network Homepage

About Plus!network homepage

Plus!network homepage will appear on your browser if you have a certain browser hijacker installed onto your system. This is a very minor infection and not exactly malicious but because it appears out of the blue, without your explicit permission, it’s put into the classification of a browser hijacker. It will change your browser’s settings without your authorization and that’s another reason why it is not something you want to have installed.

Browser hijackers set their promoted websites as homepages so that users would use them and if someone does, they may be redirected to sponsored websites. Redirects are one of the main reasons why hijackers even exist and while they do provide certain features, they are usually not worth the hassle. You’re better off having to delete Plus!network homepage than putting up with the changes that the hijacker makes.

How did the hijacker infect my computer

Browser hijackers are attached to freeware as extra offers and you need to deselect them to prevent installation. Either that, or do not install freeware from questionable sources. When you’re setting up freeware, always use Advanced or Custom settings. They will allow you to check whether something has been added and if there is something, you will be allowed to deselect everything. Bear in mind, that you will only be able to check and deselect in those settings, so refrain from using Default. And do not rush. If you do not take out advice, do not be surprised if you end up having to uninstall Plus!network homepage or some similar infection later on.

Why remove Plus!network homepage?

Once the hijacker enters the computer, it will make changes to your browser’s settings, whether it’s Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Once these changes are made, the only way to undo those changes would be to first delete Plus!network homepage and then alter the settings to your preference. It will set its promoted website as your homepage and provide you with a search engine. It will lead to Google. What is the point of using a third-party website to access Google when you can just go there directly. It may also insert sponsored content into the results and generate advertisements so that it could make pay-per-click revenue. These redirect and ads will not always be safe and may be able to to expose you to some dangerous software, which could lead to a serious infection. This and the fact that it entered your computer without permission is a huge sign that you need to uninstall Plus!network homepage.

Plus!network homepage removal

If you do not want to do it yourself, obtain anti-spyware software and have it remove Plus!network homepage for you.
