Remove Rts.dsrlte.com

About this threat

Rts.dsrlte.com redirects and pop-ups are interrupting your browsing sessions because you have an adware program installed on your computer. The only obvious sign of an adware infection is the increased amount of ads and the random redirects. Otherwise, it’s unnoticeable. Users usually do not even realize when the infection first enters their computers.

That’s because it uses a sneaky method to do that. It’s attached to freeware as an additional item and if you wanted to prevent its installation, you’d need to manually deselect it. Since most users do not notice the extra item, it’s allowed to install. The good news is that adware is not malicious. It’s not a serious infection and if you take care of it right away, you will be fine. However, if you delay Rts.dsrlte.com removal you could be exposed to malicious software and that could lead to a serious infection. This is why we strongly suggest you delete Rts.dsrlte.com.

How does adware affect my computer?

First of all, it needs to be made clear that you installed the adware yourself. It was attached to freeware and you did not notice during setup. If you do not deselect it, it will be allowed to install alongside the freeware. Fortunately, you can easily prevent unwanted installations. Choose Advanced or Custom settings when installing freeware, and you will see everything that has been added. If there is something, you will be allowed to deselect it. Refrain from using Default settings because extra offers are only visible in Advanced. And make sure you deselect every item. Having to remove Rts.dsrlte.com will take much more time than it would to deselect a few boxes.

As you have probably noticed, adware generates advertisements and performs random redirects to weird sites. It can usually affect all popular browsers, that includes Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox so expect the redirects to happen on all of them. You can try to avoid them but there’s little you can do. The redirects will only stop if you uninstall Rts.dsrlte.com adware, which should be your priority. Adware likes to show you very tempting advertisements so that users would click on them easier but that is the last thing you should do, even if you are offered great deals. Engaging with any ads while adware is present is not recommended because you could be exposed to malicious software and that could lead to a serious infection taking place on your computer. Do not delay the inevitable and delete Rts.dsrlte.com.
