Remove Search.handycafe.com from Chrome, Firefox & Internet Explorer

What is Search.handycafe.com?

Search.handycafe.com is a redirect virus, more commonly known as a browser hijacker. Hijackers are created to make money by exposing users to advertisement content, which is why you may be redirected to weird sites. They are not dangerous themselves, but that does not mean they will not frustrate you.

The changes performed to your browser will be done without your permission and you will be stuck with them until you uninstall Search.handycafe.com from your system. While it will not harm your computer directly, it may be able to expose you to unsafe content. Be careful when dealing with hijackers because you could accidentally be exposed to malware, which could do serious damage to your computer. Allowing it to remain is not recommended because of the potential damage it could do. You must have obtained it when you were installing freeware. If you miss an item attached to the freeware, that item is allowed to install. If you care about your computer, remove Search.handycafe.com.

Should you delete Search.handycafe.com?

In order to not install extra items along with the freeware, you need to manually deselect them. Simply choose Advanced or Custom settings during the installation process and you will be able to see what has been attached. All you have to do is uncheck the visible boxes and that will prevent added items from installing. You can then proceed to install the freeware without worry about hijackers or adware.

Search.handycafe.com will hijack your Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers so do not be surprised when you open it and immediately get redirected to Search.handycafe.com. It will be set as your homepage and new tabs, without your authorization. It may not be possible to undo the alterations because it will just overrule your modifications again. This can be highly aggravating, especially if you do not have much experience since having to remove Search.handycafe.com is difficult. You are offered the service of converting files to PDF and to DOC, as well as a search engine. The search engine is nothing useful as it redirects you to Saferbrowser Yahoo, where you will see sponsored content inserted among the legitimate sites. If you press on random links, you may be led to unrelated pages. You may even encounter malware in one of those because hijackers do not ensure that the content you are exposed to is safe. We strongly recommend that you delete Search.handycafe.com in order to avoid a possible malware infection.
