SeginChile Ransomware Removal Guide (Uninstall SeginChile Ransomware)

SeginChile Ransomware is an infection that is mostly aimed at Spanish-speaking computer users. The threat gets distributed in the same way as other malware: it uses spam emails, fake ads, corrupted links, hacked websites, and so on.

Once inside, it encodes the files stored on your drives. The malign program then presents you with a ransom note, which explains what has happened to your data. There is no question that you have to remove SeginChile Ransomware as soon as possible.

How does SeginChile Ransomware work?

The main purpose of this type of harmful applications is to extort money from you. That is why they encrypt your files. SeginChile Ransomware starts the encryption process right after it slither into your system. The parasite affects such file formats as .doc, .jpg, .pdf, .ppt, .txt, .psd, .html, and more. It adds the .seginchile extension to all files that it corrupts. The malware uses the AES-256 and once it is done with the encryption, your files become inaccessible to you. The ransomware also creates a file named instrucciones.html and adds it to your desktop. This file contains instructions from the hackers.

The so-called ransom note is written in Spanish. It informs you of the fact that you files have been encrypted. Surprisingly, the malware does not actually demand that you pay the ransom for your data. It starts the decryption process automatically. As it has already been mentioned, the main purpose of ransomware is to make you transfer a certain amount of money to its developers in exchange for the decryption key that you should recover the files. The fact that SeginChile Ransomware does not require any payment can only mean that it is a test version. Newer versions of the parasite are likely to demand a ransom from users in the same way as do other malign apps of this type. After the threat decrypts your files, you need to make sure that you delete SeginChile Ransomware from your PC completely.
