Remove Stop-block.org

What is Stop-block.org?

Stop-block.org promotes an ad-supported application, which claims that it can help users bypass geo-location restrictions and thus allow them to access content blocked in their country. There are several others programs that make the same promises like Unstops, Noblocks, and others. Although the functionality of the app may seem useful, we assure you, its main goal has nothing to do with improving your surfing. Instead, it exposes you to numerous advertisements no matter where you go online. The ads will come with such unwanted side effects as slow Internet and unsafe data. That is why we suggest that you get rid of Stop-block.org without hesitation.

How does Stop-block.org work?

Despite the fact that the ad-supported program has an official website, its main distribution method is actually freeware and shareware bundles. This method is often used by potentially unwanted applications that seek to enter the system without the user’s notice. It is possible to avoid these apps, however, in most cases, computer users install free software without paying attention to the wizard and so they agree to adding unnecessary components without even knowing about it. Be sure not to make the same mistake again.

Once inside, the adware starts affecting your online browsing. It may alter your preferences, track your cookies, and cause random redirects to unfamiliar pages. However, its main symptom remains the advertising data, which appears on your screen in the form of pop-ups, banners, coupons, sponsored links, interstitial ads, and so on. It is important that you know that none of this data is verified, so it could be completely false. Interacting with fake ads and landing on malign sites could result in serious troubles including malware infection, data corruption, money losses, and more. If you wish to preveent that, you should terminate Stop-block.org related app as soon as you can.
