ADClick Removal Tips (Uninstall ADClick)

ADClick, also known as Trojan.Adclicker, is a Trojan infection that is used by cyber crooks to generate web traffic. By artificially increasing the traffic of certain pages, the parasite makes profit for its developers. This behavior is considered malicious.

The harmful application spreads online by using various deceiving tactics such as fake adverts, spam email attachments, freeware bundles, corrupted links, and more. It enters the system without your notice and stays hidden for as long as it can. There is no doubt that you should remove ADClick as soon as you find out that it has infected your PC.

How does ADClick work?

As it has already been mentioned, ADClick may enter your computer without your knowledge. It uses various tricks to slither into the system, which is why it is so important to stay alert while browsing the Web. Try not to visit suspicious websites and only download software and its updates from reliable sources.

Ad-supported programs use the pay-per-click system in order to generate revenue. Their creators make money each time that you click on one of the adverts that the software shows you in your browsers. The cyber criminals that created ADClick abuse this system by posing as publishers and artificially creating fake clicks. It is clear that this is done for making easy money, however, there is nothing useful about it for computer users. In fact, the Trojan causes quite a few issues.

The main symptom that you should notice right away is that your PC is functioning much slower than usual. The disruptions do not stop there. The threat may cause freezes and crashes or make some of your programs unresponsive. Worse than that, it can also record your personal information and send it to a remote server. Needless to say, your private data can be used against you, which may lead to such serious consequences as financial losses or identity theft. If you want to prevent these outcomes, you should terminate ADClick right away.
