Remove Unstop.club

About this threat

unstop.club is a website that your AVG or Avast anti-malware software may be reacting to because it’s supposedly infected with something called JS:Agent-EDB [Trj]. If you have one of the above mentioned programs, you might be getting one pop-up alert after the other, saying that connection to unstop.club has been aborted due to it being infected.

According to users, these pop-ups pester them constantly, always displaying the same connection aborted message. The website advertises a service that will unlock geo-restricted content for Mac and Windows computers, and promotes an extension. If you do not remember visiting the website, and we don’t see any reason why you should, but your anti-malware is warning about your connection to it being blocked and it being infected, something deeper may be going on. You could have some kind of infection on your computer, and it’s connecting to the site for some reason, thus your security program is reacting.

If you are randomly redirected to the website and asked to install the extension, you might be dealing with an adware program. If that is the case, the redirects should occur regularly, constantly interrupting your browsing. You should be careful to never download anything from such redirects because what you could end up getting is malware. If you need some program, use reliable sources, not random ads.

If you are dealing with adware, be more careful about how you install free programs because you picked up adware during program installation. It was attached as an extra offer, and you failed to deselect it. Always use Advanced (Custom) settings when you install something. Added offers will become visible, and you will be able to deselect them. Only after you have unchecked all the offers, should you continue installing the program.

unstop.club removal

If you are dealing with adware, you will have to get rid of it for the redirects to stop. Try following the below provided instructions to help you manually delete unstop.club. If you are unsuccessful, obtain anti-spyware, or use the one you already have, and remove unstop.club. Automatic should take less time but if you don’t want to invest into a security program, manual is a good option.

If your issue is the constant anti-malware pop-ups about aborted connections, we suggest you scan your computer with a different security program, it may be able to find what others would not.
