URBrowser Removal

What is URBrowser?

URBrowser is a browser developed by AdaptiveBee. URBrowser is real browser that many users are happy with and we are in no way stating that you need to remove URBrowser because it poses danger to your computer. It could be working perfectly fine. However, it has been noticed that some potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) are bundled together with URBrowser. This is referred to as the bundling method. This means that when you install URBrowser, you might also end up installing some sort of unwanted application. This browser is not spreading any viruses that you should be concerned about but PUP can be frustrating to deal with.

Should you delete URBrowser?

Many PUP developers understand that no one would willingly install a browser hijacker or adware so they attach their products to legitimate programs, in this case to URBrowser. When the user is installing the program, he/she may not notice that something could be attached to it. This happens because those bundled items are hidden in Advanced or Custom settings of the installation. If the user chooses Default and rushes through the installation process, he/she may end up with all sorts of unwanted items. Always choose Advanced settings and you will not have any issues with unwanted programs.

If, when you install URBrowser, you do not deselect the added items, they will install onto your computer. Essentially, without your permission. All sorts of items could be attached, such as adware or a browser hijacker. Adware will take over your browser and insert advertisements into it. This is highly annoying behavior because the ads would be appearing everywhere. They could be promoting some sort of unreliable software and trying to convince you that your computer is infected with a virus. A browser hijacker, on the other hand, will hijack your browser and make unwanted changes. It will try to redirect you to sponsored websites. Essentially, both adware and browser hijackers aim to generate pay-per-click revenue and you have  no use of them. Both could actually indirectly lead you to malware if you are not careful. Which is why you should avoid them. In short, as long as you deselect the added items, you do not need to uninstall URBrowser.

Should you remove URBrowser?

Like we explained before, URBrowser is perfectly legitimate browser. However, if you feel like you want to delete URBrowser, you can do so. Legitimate removal tools will not detect this program, so you cannot take care of URBrowser removal automatically. However, you can uninstall URBrowser manually, if you wish.
