What’s the deal with these pop-ups?

Amazon Rewards Event pop-up ads are a scam, created with the intention of getting user personal information. They are likely caused by some kind of adware infection, or you could have been redirected when visiting a questionable website. You can differentiate between a one time attack and adware by the amount of pop-ups you see. If it appears even after you’ve closed it, you are likely dealing with adware. When you spin the wheel, you will definitely win something. You will then be asked to provide your personal information so that the prize could be shipped to you. Erase Amazon Rewards Event Scam from Google Chrome

1. Access menu (top right corner of the window) and pick Settings.
2. Choose Extensions.

Remove Amazon Rewards Event Scam from Mozilla Firefox

1. In the top right corner of the screen, press menu and choose Add-ons (or tap Ctrl+Shift+A simultaneously).
