Why is it recommended to uninstall NotToTrack?

You might know this already but certain freeware has browser hijackers, adware or other PUPs attached to it. Not many users are aware of this and that is why many PUP developers use this method to spread their products. If you select Default settings, you will give all added items automatic permission to install. If you want to control what gets installed, you need to start using Advanced or Custom settings. Those settings will allow you to choose what you want to install, and if you do not want certain items, all you need to do is deselect it. You can also download NotToTrack from its official website.

NoToTrack can attach itself to all of the leading browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari. Once it has done that, it will start generating annoying ads and insert them everywhere you go. You will be exposed to pop-ups, slide-in and pop-under ads as well as banners. NotToTrack ads might offer you great deals and shopping coupons but in most cases, those deals don’t even exist. NotToTrack want to generate traffic for certain websites and it uses ads to do that. You could even get pop-ups suggesting you download or update a piece of software. Never trust such pop-ups to provide you with safe download links. If you want to download or update software, use only reliable/official websites and not random pop-ups. You could also be led to a dangerous domain where you could download malicious viruses onto your computer by mistake. Apart from all of this, your computer will slow down and your browser will crash much more often. All the ads NoToTrack generates puts a strain on your computer. Everything will go back to normal when you delete NotToTrack from your device.
