What is Airtostrong.exe?
Airtostrong.exe is an executable file that comes as part of an advertising-supported program. Although adware itself is not malicious, it still causes quite a few problems, once it gets access to your PC. It makes profit for its creators by generating online traffic, which is why it floods you with all kinds of ads. These ads appear on all of your visited sites and in all of your browsers. There is nothing beneficial about them, because they slow down your online surfing speed and expose you to virtual scams. We advise that you terminate Airtostrong.exe related app as soon as you can.
How does Airtostrong.exe work?
Ad-supported applications get distributed in free software bundles. If you download freeware from third-party software hosting sites like softonic.com, soft32.com, filewin.com, cnet.com, and similar, you need to be especially careful during their installation process. The reason for that is simple; freeware usually comes with additional programs that are unnecessary to you. In order to avoid them, you will have to install the software in the Advanced or Custom mode. This mode will allow you to deselect all apps that are non-essential and only install the program that you originally wanted.
The main symptom of the adware is that it will fill your browsers with commercial data. Pop-ups, coupons, sponsored links, banners, and other ads will appear on your screen no matter which pages you open. The site may have nothing to do with online shopping at all, but it will still contain the advertising data. Moreover, you may also get redirected to random pages in the middle of your browsing. You should know that trusting the information that is brought to you by the application is not a good idea. It does not endorse the adverts that it shows you, which means that they could be fake. If you click on fake ads, you will risk infecting your PC with malware or suffering some other outcomes of falling victim to a virtual scam. We advise that you get rid of Airtostrong.exe before that happens.
