What is Browser-net.org?
Browser-net.org is a Russian domain which you might discover set on your Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Users who see this URL when they open their web browsers must be infected with a browser hijacker. It might seem that Browser-net.org can cause no harm, but it is not exactly true. Also, you could not set a new preferred homepage if you do not remove Browser-net.org first fully. The Browser-net.org removal will not be easy not only because it changes settings of all browsers installed on the computer, but also because it alters such important browsers’ settings as a homepage, default search engine, and the New Tab page. What does Browser-net.org do?
Browser-net.org is set on all users’ browsers without permission so that they would see it each time they open their web browsers. This domain does not look dangerous at all – it contains links opening articles, and, on top of that, there is a search box on the start page. Because of this, so many users do not go to uninstall Browser-net.org when they discover it set on their browsers. People, unfortunately, do not know that this website might contain untrustworthy links and commercial advertisements – all the dangers lie behind them. It is known that these third-party links/advertisements might redirect to pages with infectious contents, so keeping Browser-net.org set on browsers is not recommended. Actually, these ads/sponsored links might be placed on the search results page too, so we, unfortunately, cannot say that it is a good idea to use its search tool to perform web searches. In our opinion, the best you can do is to delete Browser-net.org from browsers. This is the only way to avoid all those potentially dangerous third-party links/advertisements and protect the privacy from being violated – yes, Browser-net.org might do that too.
