About Eusearch.org

Eusearch.org is a browser hijacker that will change your browser’s settings without your permission. You must have allowed this low-level, yet still irritating, infection to enter your computer when you installed free software. Freeware usually comes together with some kind of added items, in this case, with Eusearch.org.

If you want to prevent these unwanted installations, you need to start paying closer attention to how you install freeware. The good news is that it will not harm your computer. It will, however, change your browser’s settings and try to redirect you to sponsored web pages. While the hijacker itself is not very dangerous, the redirects might be. The hijackers does not care what kind of web page you will be redirected to, so you could easily end up on a malicious one. If you want to avoid a possible malware infection, we suggest you remove Eusearch.org as soon as possible.

How does Eusearch.org spread?

All hijackers use the same method to spread and that is via free software. It was attached to it in a way that allowed the hijacker to install alongside. Those added items are set to install and need to be manually deselected in order to stop them. You can do so in Advanced or Custom settings, during the freeware installation process. Just uncheck the added items and you can proceed to install the free software safely. If you do not want to end up having to delete Eusearch.org or similar again, always use Advanced settings and pay attention.

Why uninstall Eusearch.org?

Your browser’s settings will be changed and you will be stuck with Eusearch.org as your homepage, new tabs and search engine. This will affect all major browsers installed on your computer, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Since all browsers will be hijacked, switching to a different one will not solve the problem. You will have to remove Eusearch.org hijacker in order to change back the settings. Your new homepage will have a nice background picture and a search engine. We do not suggest using it because it will insert sponsored pages into the results. It does this because it aims to generate income by redirecting you to those pages. If you press on any of them, you might end up on weird, completely unrelated web pages. You could even be led to malicious sites where malware could be waiting. You might accidentally infect your computer with serious malware. We strongly suggest you delete Eusearch.org to protect your computer.

Eusearch.org removal
