About this hijacker
Mydailysearch.com is a browser hijacker that you could have obtained via free software bundles. It’s the kind of infection that will make plenty of changes to your browser but will not directly harm your computer. Browser hijackers are not serious but the sooner you get rid of it, the better. It will make changes to your computer, set its promoted site as your homepage and new tabs, and then try to redirect you to sponsored sites.
This is typical hijacker behavior. Hijackers aim to redirect you because they exist to generate traffic for sponsored sites, more traffic means more income for owners. If you want to avoid these infections in the future, you will have to learn how to properly install programs because that is how they spread. Because hijackers are able to redirect to malicious site, we strongly suggest you delete Mydailysearch.com.
Browser hijackers are added to freeware as extra offers, and if you do not deselect them, they will install alongside the software. Thankfully, preventing their installation is not difficult. All you need to do is pick Advanced or Custom settings when you install something. Those settings will allow you to check if something has been added to program, and if there is something, you will be able to deselect it. Make sure you always deselect everything. Always use those settings, unless you want to be stuck having to remove Mydailysearch.com or similar over and over again.
Why should you uninstall Mydailysearch.com?
As soon as the infection is installed, it will make sure to change your browser’s settings so that you have a different homepage, new tabs and default search engine. The programs that do this without permission should not be allowed to remain on your computer because not only are they annoying, they can also perform certain things without asking you. Those changes will also be irreversible unless you first delete Mydailysearch.com, which you should do right away. You will find some weird site set as your homepage, new tabs and search engine, and this will happen on all browsers, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The website itself appears to be very poorly made, it has a picture taking up half the page, advertisements, links to sites like Facebook, YouTube, and a search engine. We do not suggest pressing on anything on the site because you could be redirected to sponsored or even malicious sites. Especially be wary of the search engine. It will insert sponsored content into the results so that you would be redirects. Redirects could also happen to malicious sites so be careful. And remove Mydailysearch.com.
If you have decided to uninstall Mydailysearch.com, you can do so in two ways. You will have to find the hijacker yourself if you pick manual Mydailysearch.com removal. We will provide instructions to help you. It would be easier if you obtained anti-spyware software and had it take care of everything.
