Negozl Virus Removal Guide (Uninstall Negozl Virus)
Negozl Virus is categorized as a ransomware infection, which can infiltrate your PC without your knowledge. Like all other ransomware, it is aimed at making money off of computer users. It spreads on the Internet by employing various deceptive tactics like corrupted links, malign email attachments, fake ads, and so on.
Once inside, it encrypts your files, making them inaccessible to you. It then demand that you pay a ransom for your data. The amount set by the hackers is completely outrageous: they want you to pay 5 Bitcoins, which equals about $3300. Needless to say, you should remove Negozl Virus without hesitation.
How does Negozl Virus work?
Negozl Virus works in a similar manner to CryptoLocker, CryptoWall, Chimera, Cerber, and other malicious programs of this type. Once it gets access to your system, it modifies certain registry entries, thus ensuring that it launches automatically each time you turn on your PC. The parasite then uses the asymmetric encryption algorithm to encode your photos, videos, documents, databases, and other valuable files. It adds the .evil extension to all corrupted data. These files can no longer be opened.
After the threat is done with the encryption it creates a file called “help recover files.txt”, which contains the so-called ransom note. The message states that your files have been encrypted with the AES-256 algorithm. It attempts to scare you by stating that you should not try recovering your data on your own or you will lose it forever. The notification then presents you with detailed information on how to make the payment and provides you with the email address that you need to contact after you pay the ransom. There is no question that you cannot waste so much money. The sooner you eliminate Negozl Virus from your computer, the better.
