Ozip Search Removal Guide (Uninstall Ozip Search)
Ozip Search, also known as Search.ozipcompression.com, is a browser hijacker that belongs to Zoekyu Technology. This company aims at providing advertising services for its sponsors. In other words, it serves as an advertising platform for publishers. This means its main purpose is to expose you to commercial data. That is where the hijacker comes in.
It changes your browser settings, inserts ads into your visited sites, causes redirects, and so on, because that is how it makes profit for its creators. There is nothing beneficial about it for you. We suggest that you terminate Ozip Search without hesitation.
Once the hijacker takes over your browsers, it replaces your home page and default search engine with Search.ozipcompression.com. This site contains a search box with Web, Images, and Videos search parameters. If you make use of the search provider, you will be presented with results that include lots of sponsored links. That is not the best way to look for information online. It would be best to go back to your original search tools. In order to do that, you will have to delete Ozip Search from your browsers.
Other symptoms linked to the hijacker include it causing redirects to its sponsor pages and inserting various adverts into all of your visited sites. The hijacker does not hold responsibility for the content that it shows you. Its ads could easily be fake and they may expose you to online scams. If you fall for one of them, you may infect your PC with malicious programs, waste your money on non-existent products, and so on. There is no question that you should eliminate Ozip Search from your browsers, if you want to improve your online security level and Web browsing speed.
