What are Pass and Play ads?
Pass and Play ads are generated by the ad-supported application that you have got installed on your PC. The adware was developed by Yontoo LLC and is similar to such programs as WatchAnyGame, Fetch Sports, Royal Raid, and others. Its purpose is to generate online traffic as that is how its developers earn revenue. There is nothing beneficial about the software. It floods your browsers with unwanted ads, slows down your Internet surfing speed, and exposes you to unreliable online data. We suggest that you terminate Pass and Play ads as soon as you can.
How does Pass and Play work?
Pass and Play is promoted as a utility that can allow you to watch sports online and share your experience with your friends. Although the application has an official page, it does not provide a download link. This means that the program travels in freeware and shareware bundles. If you do not remember installing it at all, you most likely did not pay too much attention to free software’s installation wizard. When you install freeware, you need to pay attention to all terms and conditions. If you are given a choice to install it in the Advanced mode, you should always do it, because this mode will allow you to deselect components that you do not need like adware and other potentially unwanted programs.
Once the advertising-supported application gets installed on your computer, it starts inserting various adverts into your browsers. You will see pop-ups, banners, coupons, and other adverts labeled “Powered by Pass and Play”, “Ads by Pass and Play”, and similar. Keep in mind that not all of these ads can be trusted. Some of them will be fake. They may to trick you into installing potentially unwanted programs like iToolbox, Highlighty, and others. You may also encounter other scams aimed at infecting your PC with malicious apps, extorting money from you, and so on. We advise that you eliminate Pass and Play ads from your browsers and thus improve your cyber security level.
