About these ads
RightCoupon Ads are popping up on your screen because you have an adware program installed, and it’s generating advertisements. Adware programs are generally not malicious and pose little danger but they are not harmless. For one, the pop-ups will get on your nerves pretty quickly, and they will not always be safe. Some could lead users to malicious sites where malware could lurking.
Adware is usually attached to programs users install, and that’s how they end up on users’ computers. It’s not difficult to avoid these infections but because they are not visible immediately, many users install them. There is no reason why you should keep adware installed, as it will only cause trouble. So we highly recommend you delete RightCoupon Ads adware immediately.
How does adware install?
Adware is usually attached to freeware as an extra offer. In order to prevent it from installing alongside, you need to deselect it. This can only be done in Advanced or Custom settings so choose those settings when you install programs. Default settings will not make any of those items visible so do not use them. And make sure you deselect everything when in Advanced because only then will you be able to avoid having to remove RightCoupon Ads or similar threats.
What does adware do?
The adware will attach itself to all of the leading browsers you have installed, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Soon after installation, you will start noticing ads popping up everywhere, even on sites you never got advertisements before. They can be highly intrusive, and even slow down your browser, making it crash constantly. And you can keep closing the ads but they will only permanently disappear if you uninstall RightCoupon Ads adware. You could be advertised all kinds of things, from surveys to software, but engaging with them is not recommended. If you are offered to participate in a survey to win a prize, keep in mind that it’s a scam trying to get your personal information. And if you are shown a program ad, it’s probably trying to make you download malware. Only download programs from secure sites/stores. Otherwise, you could be putting your computer in danger. The adware could also be following your activity online, trying to get information about you and your browsing habits. It would then be used to generate more relevant adverts so that you would be more likely to click on them. There is no reason why you should keep this unwanted program, so just delete RightCoupon Ads.
