Search Expanse Removal Tips (Uninstall Search Expanse)
Search Expanse belongs to the BrowseFox adware family and is classified as a browser hijacker. It modifies your browser settings and causes other disruptions for the purpose of promoting its sponsors. That is why the hijacker inserts various ads into your browsers and causes redirects to pages that are unfamiliar to you. By boosting web traffic, the program makes profit. Unfortunately, you will not benefit from it in any way.
On the contrary, it will only cause inconveniences when it comes to your online surfing and use up your system resources making it work slower than usual. We advise that you delete Search Expanse without further delay.
Since Search Expanse spreads online bundled with other freeware, it is entirely possible that you acquired it unwittingly. Free software bundles usually come with potentially unwanted apps. Usually, they can be avoided. However, if computer users do not pay attention to the installation wizard, they agree to adding these programs without even realizing it. If you do not want to make the same mistake again, you should always choose the Advanced mode of installation and deselect all components that are not necessary to you.
Once in the system, Search Expanse starts its intrusive activities by altering your browser settings including your home page and default search provider. This is done in order to insert sponsored content into your search results. The hijacker also floods your browsers with various adverts that appear on all sites that you open regardless of their content. The advertisements slow down your surfing speed and expose you to virtual scams. Interacting with these scams could result in different problems including but not limited to wasting your money on bogus products and infecting your computer with unreliable software. If you do not wish to take such security risks, you should remove Search Expanse as soon as you can.
