Removal Guide is a browser hijacker that belongs to an adware application called SearchBetter. This program is distributed by Revizer Ltd. The adware spreads using the bundling method. Once it gets installed, your browser settings get modified without your permission. You also start noticing various adverts appear all over your browser. The software claims that it can allow you to search better and faster and to find song lyrics to your favorite music videos.

That is not what it actually does. The main purpose of the program is to generate web traffic which is why it will not be beneficial to you. We suggest you terminate and its related application as soon as you can.

How does work? was developed by APN LLC. The website is set as your home page and default search engine as soon as the hijacker gets installed. It contains quick links to Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo, YouTube, Amazon, Twitter and other popular pages. The search box presented on the site redirects you to a results page that is filled with sponsored ads. You may think that the hijacker is somewhat useful, however, you should keep in mind that the commercial content that it exposes you to may be unsafe. That is why we urge you not to trust the ads, banners and pop-ups that you see on your visited pages. These adverts could lead you to unreliable sites containing malware or other virtual scams.

Although is often distributed with SearchBetter adware, it is also possible that the hijacker has entered your PC with some other unwanted application. Whichever program that is, you will have to uninstall it from your system. It is important that you know how to prevent unwanted applications from infiltrating your computer. Make sure that you choose Advanced installation mode when downloading freeware and decline all additional offers presented to you.

How to remove

It should not be too difficult to eliminate from your browsers. You can choose one of two options: manual or automatic removal. If you decide to remove manually, you will have to uninstall the hijacker’s associated program and then fix your browser settings. More detailed instructions are provided below in case you need them. If, however, you choose to delete automatically, you will have to implement a malware removal tool. The anti-malware will scan your PC, detect all unwanted files and programs and eliminate along with them. You will not have to worry about future online threats as your PC will be protected at all times as long as the security software stays installed. Removal
