In it, you will be informed of what has happened and how to restore the files. It asks victims to go to a website using the Tor browser, in which they will find out how much they need to pay. It appears the hackers behind Cerber 2 are asking for 1.24 Bitcoins ($789) and it will double if payment is not made within seven days. If we take into account all previous ransomwares, we think you should not pay. The amount is big and you are not guaranteed the decryption key. Instead, delete Cerber 2.

8. Click Next again and click Yes to begin the system restore.

Delete Cerber 2 from Windows 8/Windows 10

1. Click the Power button on the Windows login screen.
2. Press and hold Shift and click Restart.

4. Select Command Prompt and click Restart.
5. In Command Prompt, input cd restore and tap Enter.
6. Type in rstrui.exe and tap Enter again.
7. Click Next in the new System Restore window.
8. Choose the restore point prior to the infection.
9. Click Next and then click Yes to restore your system.
