By agreeing to pay, the user would be giving away his/her banking information or subscribing to some useless service that takes money every month or week. The user would also be revealing their personal information (name, address, email address, phone number, etc.) to scammers, who would proceed to use the information to further scam the user. It goes without saying that the pop-ups claiming to give away prizes are merely a scam and you will receive no prize.
