About this adware

DealPly is an adware program that will display coupons and adverts in order to make pay-per-click revenue. It’s doubtful that you installed the adware willingly, it was most likely added to freeware as an extra offer and you accidentally installed it. You might be confused about the ads appearing at first but there is no need to be worried about the adware directly harming your computer because it will not. It’s not a malicious computer virus but that does not mean you do not need to uninstall DealPly. The thing about adware is that it does not make sure the advertisements you are shown are safe. You could easily be exposed to something malicious and it could infect your computer, without you even noticing.

How did it end up on your computer?

You may have been able to download the adware from somewhere, when looking for useful shopping extensions but the more likely scenario is that you installed freeware that had this adware attached to it. It’s not difficult to avoid these unwanted installations, and in order to be able to do it, you need to access Advanced or Custom settings when installing freeware. In those settings, you will see everything that has been added and will be allowed to deselect it/them. Make sure that you uncheck every last one extra offer because they are concealed there for a reason.

Why delete DealPly?

The extension works for the main browsers, so Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The adware will display offers and ads when you browse shopping websites, like Amazon or Dell. They will offer you the same goods but with a lower price. You can’t avoid the adverts while the adware is still present on the system, so if you want to get rid of them, you need to remove DealPly. Do keep in mind that you are dealing with adware, which means not all of the offers will be real. Or some might lead to questionable shopping websites where you really should not provide your bank details. We would not recommend trusting any of the offers shown because adware just wants to generate pay-per-click income and it will make tempting deals to make you click on ads. Some might be able to lead you to a serious malware infection, so while the adware itself is not a direct threat, the ads that it generates may be. We strongly recommend you uninstall DealPly.

DealPly removal

If you choose to delete DealPly, you can do it in two ways. There’s manual DealPly removal and automatic. The former means you will have to find the adware yourself, which could be difficult as it may be hiding. Automatic elimination may be easier as you would only need to get anti-spyware software. The program would find and remove DealPly for you.
