About LUDASHI

LUDASHI is a Chinese system optimizer tool, considered to be a potentially unwanted program (PUP) due to its questionable features. Because it is a legitimate program, you can download it from the official website. However, it seems to be able to spread via software bundles as well. That means that it’s attached to free software and some users might not notice it being there.

LUDASHI

If it goes unnoticed, it will install automatically, without your knowledge. It’s not a malicious program and it will not harm your computer but it does seem to display some adware and browser hijacker characteristics. It will generate advertisements and make changes to your browser without your explicit consent. We should warn you that while LUDASHI is not dangerous by itself, it could lead you to some potentially harmful websites, where you could accidentally obtain malware. We suggest you remove LUDASHI as soon as possible.

Why should you delete LUDASHI?

Even though it has an official website, you probably did not choose to install LUDASHI. It can enter your computer together with free software and this is known as the bundling method. It’s attached to freeware and that allows it to install together with it. This can be prevented but because most users are not even aware of LUDASHI, they cannot do anything. During the freeware installation, you will be given two setting options, Default and Advanced (Custom). Even though Default settings seem like the preferred settings, do not choose those. Default will not show you any added items and they will install automatically. What you should do is choose Advanced. Not only will the added items be visible but you will also be able to deselect them. This means that you will not have to uninstall LUDASHI later on.

LUDASHI is advertised as a system optimizer tool but because it is in Chinese, users who do not speak the language have no use of it. As soon as it is installed, it will start generating advertisements. Those advertisements are very intrusive and will annoy you on all your browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. To get rid of them, you would need to remove LUDASHI from your computer. While LUDASHI is harmless by itself, the advertisements it generates might not be. You could accidentally click on the wrong ad and end up downloading a malicious computer virus. In addition, your browser’s settings might be changed. A new homepage, new tabs and search engine might be set without your knowledge. There are better system optimizers out there, so we suggest you uninstall LUDASHI.
