About this infection
SecureDisk.exe is a process that belongs to a miner Trojan horse. It’s one of those infections that will use your computer’s resources to mine cryptocurrency without permission. There are a couple of ways you could have obtained the infection, via freeware bundles, fake downloads, and malicious advertisements. It’s not exactly the most dangerous infections, although the sooner you delete SecureDisk.exe, the better.
It’s not going to delete your files, but it will be using your computer for monetary gain. It will use your computer’s resources to mine, and this will make your computer run slow and sluggish. Your CPU will also run in very hot temperatures during the time the miner is on your computer, which is not healthy. So remove SecureDisk.exe.

You could have picked up the miner in a couple of ways, including via freeware bundles, fake downloads and malicious adverts. What does it do?
The process will appear in your Task Manager and will have high CPU usage. It does not have a suspicious name, so users might not notice it if not for the high percentage of CPU usage. If you are less experienced when it comes to computers, you might not check the Task Manager but the miner also displays other, quite evident symptoms. Like your fan running constantly if you are using a laptop, slow/sluggish computer, programs taking a longer time to load, laggy Internet, etc. If you notice any of these symptoms, there is a possibility that you have some kind of malware installed. It may not necessarily be a miner Trojan, and to find out, access your computer’s Task Manager. Look for the above mentioned process. It should come up at the top as it uses a lot of your computer’s CPU. If it is there, a miner is currently using your computer’s resources to mine cryptocurrency. And it’s doing it without your permission. This is not healthy for your CPU, and its lifespan might shorten as a result. Thus, delete SecureDisk.exe.
