What is WeeklyWeather

WeeklyWeather is a potentially unwanted application (PUP) and adware. It might seem useful as it cleans your computer from junk but because it can invade your computer without you knowing and then expose you to dangerous ads, it not a program you want to have on your computer. WeeklyWeather removal is strongly recommended. It does have an official website where you can download it but it also spreads via software that users download from the Internet. It comes as an additional item and users usually miss it when installing the software. If you find it on your computer, we suggest you take the time to uninstall WeeklyWeather.

How did WeeklyWeather get on my computer

WeeklyWeather has an official website where you can download the application. If you don’t remember doing that but notice that WeeklyWeather has invaded your computer, you need to be more careful when installing software. Malware developers use the ‘bundling’ method to spread their products. In simple terms, they attach the item, in this case WeeklyWeather, onto another program and when you install the program, the item installs as well. You can avoid that by using Advanced (Custom) settings to see and uncheck all the additional items you don’t want. If you use Default settings, which is what most users opt for, you risk missing some potentially dangerous items and letting them install automatically. Getting infected by WeeklyWeather is not the end of the world but we still recommend you delete WeeklyWeather as soon as it makes an appearance.

What does WeeklyWeather do

WeeklyWeather is advertised as an application that will clean your computer by getting rid of junk files your computer obtains over time. But once it’s on your computer, it starts exposing you to various ads that could be potentially dangerous. It gathers information about you, such as IP addresses, search history, websites visited, etc. It then shares the information with third-parties, who might use the information to generate ads. If you were to click on those ads, you might be redirected to malicious websites full of viruses that will be automatically downloaded onto your computer. Adware does not care whether you are being led to dangerous sites, it cares to make money for developers. In order to avoid serious damage to your computer, we suggest WeeklyWeather removal.

How do I remove WeeklyWeather

It’s not difficult to uninstall WeeklyWeather, you can do it manually. But we recommend you start using an anti-malware program to easily delete WeeklyWeather and prevent such programs from making home on your computer. Instructions on how to remove WeeklyWeather will be provided below.
