You are provided with a phone number and if you were to dial it, you’d be connected with crooks who would probably try to deceive you into buying some kind of software for an unreasonable amount of money. Or try to connect to your computer remotely. This is nothing more than a scam and you need to delete ERROR! Call for support! Ads. And to prevent similar infections in the future, ensure that you install freeware correctly from now on. More on how adware spreads will be explained further on in this report.

What does the threat do?

When the threat enters your computer, it will start generating intrusive pop-ups that will try to deceive you. They will appear on all popular browsers, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. This is incredibly annoying and there’s little you can do to avoid these ads. You can try simply closing them but if you want to remove ERROR! Call for support! Ads fully, you will have to get rid of the threat. The pop-ups will warn you that there has been some kind of error and to fix it, you’d need to call the provided number. It’s just a deceptive warning and there is no error. Most likely, the only thing wrong with your computer is the threat causing the pop-ups. Do not call the number because you will be scammed. Just uninstall ERROR! Call for support! Ads.

How does it spread?

Users usually pick up these threats when they are installing freeware. Free programs oftentimes come together with extra offers, such as adware, browser hijackers, etc. They are not obligatory but you need to deselect them during installation if you do not want them. This can be done in Advanced or Custom settings during the freeware setup. Those settings will show you if anything has been attached to the freeware and if there is something, you will be allowed to deselect everything. We highly recommend unchecking all the boxes because those items are hidden in Advanced for a reason. Bear in mind that it’s much easier to unmark a few boxes than it would be to delete ERROR! Call for support! Ads or similar threats later on.

ERROR! Call for support! Ads removal

We would recommend obtaining anti-malware software to be able to fully uninstall ERROR! Call for support! Ads. It is fully possible to get rid of the threat manually but that will take more time than you think because you will need to find where the hijacker is hiding. If you go with automatic ERROR! Call for support! Ads removal, you should save time because the program will do everything for you.
