What is easyopenweb.com?
Easyopenweb.com is a browser hijacker than can infect your computer via free software. It acts like any other browser hijacker. It will alter certain browser’s settings and redirect you to sponsored websites. This can get very annoying very quickly but you will only be able to stop those redirects if you delete easyopenweb.com browser hijacker from your computer. The main purpose of easyopenweb.com is to generate pay-per-click revenue for certain websites. It’s not there to improve your browsing experience, no matter how much it tries to claim otherwise. It might also indirectly harm your computer. easyopenweb.com could redirect you to a dangerous domain and you might end up downloading a malicious computer virus. Which is why we strongly recommend you remove easyopenweb.com. After you do, you can return to normal browsing.
Why do I need to uninstall easyopenweb.com?
If your browser has been hijacked by easyopenweb.com, then you must not know that browser hijackers can be attached to freeware in a way that allows them to install automatically if you use Default settings during freeware installation. You are not recommended to use Default settings at all because they do not show you any added items. However, if you choose Advanced or Custom settings, you will be able to view all items. When you click on those settings, you will be able to deselect all of them and they will not install.
As mentioned before, a browser hijacker exists to redirect users to sponsored websites. And in order to do that, it needs to alter certain browser’s settings. You will find that easyopenweb.com has hijacked your browser (be it Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox) and set it domain as your homepage and new tabs. Once this has happened, you might not be able to change the settings back, unless you first remove easyopenweb.com from your computer. This is highly annoying behavior. The website has shortcuts to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other websites. We don’t suggest you use them, as they could redirect you to a completely different website. The search bar allows you to choose from Google, Bing and Yahoo. It’s not some new enhanced search engine so you’re better off just using those legitimate search engines. easyopenweb.com also has ads on it, which, again we don’t suggest you click on. It’s best to just ignore the website altogether. You could be led to a website that has a malicious virus on it, and you could accidentally download it. Before this happens, delete easyopenweb.com.
