About Mobifoth

Mobifoth pop-ups are most likely caused by some ad-supported program installed on your computer. Adware programs are usually not harmful but can be highly irritating because they generate ads and pop-ups to expose you to. Adware can usually enter a computer via free software bundles. When installing freeware, it is important that you manually deselect all extra offers that come with the freeware. If you fail to do so, you will end up allowing all kinds of unwanted programs to install. You need to learn good installation habits if you want to have a secure computer and it’s best you do that before you infect your computer with something more serious than a mere adware program. To delete Mobifoth pop-ups, you will need to get rid of the adware program. More detailed information will be provided in the Mobifoth removal section.

How did I end up with adware?

Like we said, adware comes together with free software. If you regularly install free programs, you need to make sure that is all you are installing, and no additional items go through. To check whether something is attached to free software, use Advanced or Custom settings during installation. You will see everything that has been attached and will also have the option of deselecting all. After you uncheck the program, you can proceed to install the freeware. It is also a good idea to read reviews about the program you are about to install to make sure it will not cause any problems. This is much easier to do than it would be to remove Mobifoth once it’s already installed.

What does Mobifoth do?

The adware will generate pop-ups and show them on all popular browsers installed on your computer, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. The problem will reoccur on all leading browsers installed so there’s little use in changing your browser, you will have to deal with the problem eventually. According to user reports, the adware will open pop-up windows every 15-20 minutes and this will keep happening until you uninstall Mobifoth pop-ups causing adware. It should not harm your computer directly but the pop-ups could slow down your system or make your browser crash more often. Everything should go back to normal and you should be able to delete Mobifoth pop-ups permanently if you follow the instructions in the last paragraphs.

Mobifoth removal

It seems the pop-ups are caused by an extension known as ‘Unseen’, so if you want to uninstall Mobifoth pop-ups, you will have to get rid of that add-on. You should be okay to manually remove Mobifoth because all you have to do is disable the extension on your browsers. If disabling ‘Unseen’ does not solve the problem, or if you did not have in the first place, you will have to go through your browser extensions and see which one is causing the pop-ups.
