About this adware

VPNTop is a questionable virtual private network (VPN) tool that behaves like adware. If you do not recall installing it yourself, then check what other programs you set up recently. It’s likely that it was attached to that program and you did not notice during installation. If that is the case, you need to be more careful about what you install and how you do it. Otherwise, you will end up with all kinds of unwanted programs.

VPNTop Adware

Adware is not exactly dangerous itself, albeit some do consider it to be malware. It’s not going to delete your files or take them for ransom, but it will bombard your screen with adverts as you browse the Internet. This is what makes adware so annoying. It’s also what makes it a very noticeable infection, which means you will be able to deal with it quickly. We recommend you delete VPNTop Adware, especially if you did not willingly install it.

How to avoid adware?

It’s not just adware that comes attached to other programs, you can get hijackers, bogus anti-malware programs, etc. They are added in a way that makes it difficult to notice them if you are not paying attention, and a lot of users don’t. Default settings nor show you added offers, nor allow you to deselect them so avoid using them when installing programs. Instead, opt for Advanced or Custom. You will be able to check for extra offers, and if you do not want something, you can deselect it/them. If you want to not have to uninstall VPNTop Adware or similar regularly, always deselect everything.

What does the adware do?

With the growing use of VPNs, there are a lot of different ones to choose from. This one is advertised as the best VPN for China and UAE Dubai but its use is questionable. It may work as it promises, but it will also fill your screen with adverts, which will not only interrupt your browsing but also possibly endanger your computer. The ads will appear constantly, no matter what sites you are vising. And they will keep popping up until you remove VPNTop Adware. Engaging with the ads is not recommended while adware is present as you can never know whether you will be exposed to safe adverts. Some of them could be malicious and may lead to serious infections. In addition to this, the adware will noticeably slow down your computer and make your browser crash constantly. You should delete VPNTop Adware, and if you are in need of a VPN, there are more reliable options out there.

VPNTop Adware removal

It should not be difficult to uninstall VPNTop Adware, and you can do it manually. We will provide a guide to help you below this article. If manual VPNTop Adware removal is too complex for you, you can obtain anti-spyware software and have it take care of everything. If you fully remove VPNTop Adware, the adverts should stop.
