This variant of the ransomware infected your computer when you opened a malicious email attachment, and now all your files are encrypted and have the .asasin file extension. Once the encryption is complete, you will be asked to pay a certain amount of money, and supposedly, your files would be decrypted. Criminals providing you with a decryptor is highly unlikely since they can just take your money. And by paying, you would be supporting their future projects, and might become a victim again. Ransomware creators are criminals, and there is nothing stopping them from just taking your money and not giving you anything. Instead, it would be wiser to invest that money into reliable backup. If you had one prior to infection, you would not have an issue at this moment. You could just delete Asasin Virus, and proceed to recover files. Delete Asasin Virus from Windows 8/Windows 10

1. Click the Power button on the Windows login screen.
2. Press and hold Shift and click Restart.
3. Choose Troubleshoot and go to Advanced options.
4. Select Command Prompt and click Restart.
5. In Command Prompt, input cd restore and tap Enter.
6. Type in rstrui.exe and tap Enter again.
7. Click Next in the new System Restore window.
8. Choose the restore point prior to the infection.
9. Click Next and then click Yes to restore your system.
