What is .Locked File Virus?

How does Locked File Virus work?

They state that you must follow one of the provided links to make the payment. The malware also changes your desktop background to the image of the instructions. If you follow one of the links given in the so-called ransom note, you will open a page that explains how to buy Bitcoins and send them (usually 0.5 BTC, which is about 210USD) to the cyber crooks.
