What is QkSee Ads?
QkSee Ads belongs to the category of ad-supported applications, because it can insert advertisements into your browsers. It is compatible with all popular web browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and others. The program has one purpose and that is to make profit for its creators. In order to do so, it employs pay-per-click system, which means that its developers make money off of every time that you click on one of the ads. It is important for you to know that not all commercial content shown to you is safe. If you want to eliminate the unreliable adverts from your browsers, you will have to uninstall QkSee Ads from your PC.
How does QkSee Ads work?
Adware programs are often promoted as useful tools that can somehow improve your browsing or help you find the best deals online. Unfortunately, in most cases, their descriptions are completely false. QkSee Ads is not any different. It gets distributed in free software bundles and is presented to you as an optional offer in the wizard. If you do not notice and decline this offer, the app gets installed automatically. This is not completely fair, especially considering that computer users rarely pay careful attention to the installation process. That, however, is exactly what you should do, if you want to keep your system away from potentially unwanted programs.
Once the advertising-supported application gets installed, it starts tracking your cookies to collect data about your browsing habits. This data is usually used for creating personalized ads. It may also be sold to third parties. The ads will appear in your browsers no matter which site you open. They will be presented in the form of pop-ups, banners, coupons, and so on. You may also get redirected to various sponsor websites. Your online surfing will considerably slow down and you will be exposed to unreliable web content. If you want to go back to uninterrupted and safe Internet browsing, you should delete QkSee Ads right away.
