What is SpringFiles?

SpringFiles is promoted as a download manager that can improve your downloading experience making it faster and easier. The free software has an official website at spring-files.com, however, the page does not provide a working download link. This means that the program has most likely entered your PC through a freeware bundle. If that is the case, it is possible that you have other unwanted apps on your computer as well. We assure you, the download manager is not as useful as it claims to be. We advise that you terminate SpringFiles without hesitation.

How does SpringFiles work?

SpringFiles is similar to another potentially unwanted program called ExpressFiles. In the same way as ExpressFiles, SpringFiles is supposed to assist you in your downloads, however, it does not actually follow through on its promises. The app does not function properly. Instead, it inserts advertisements into all pages that you visit. These ads slow down your online surfing speed and expose you to virtual scams. You should keep in mind that clicking on fake adverts may result in serious consequences like malware infections, money losses, and more. We advise that you stay away from all commercial content until you get rid of SpringFiles.

As you already know, the application cannot be downloaded from its official site, and, instead, it travels in free software bundles. When you install free software, you need to be aware of the fact that it is likely to present you with additional offers. These offers usually include potentially unwanted and ad-supported apps. It would be best to avoid installing them. You can do that by choosing the Advanced or Custom installation mode and deselecting all programs that are unfamiliar to you. That way you will only install the software that you originally wanted. Make sure you follow these tips the next time you deal with freeware or shareware.

How to remove SpringFiles?

You can eliminate SpringFiles from your computer manually or automatically. If you choose manual SpringFiles removal, you can follow the instructions that we have prepared at the bottom of the page. You should not have any difficulties with this removal option, however, it would be better to erase SpringFiles automatically instead. The security tool will not only clean your PC, but also provide it with real-time online protection thus shielding it from future infections you may encounter while browsing the Internet.
