Zyklon Virus Removal Advices (Uninstall Zyklon Virus)
If your computer has been infected with Zyklon Virus, you already know that it is an extremely malicious program. It actually falls into the category of ransomware, because it attempts to extort money from you. The parasite spreads online through spam bots, social engineering schemes, fake adverts, corrupted links, drive-by downloads, and so on.
Once inside your system, the application starts encrypting your data. None of the encoded files can be accessed by the user. The ransom will urge you to make a payment, which will supposedly result in you getting your files back. You should not trust the cyber crooks or follow their suggestions. Instead, we advise that you terminate Zyklon Virus without delay.
Zyklon Virus works in the same manner as most other ransomware programs such as CTB-Locker, TeslaCrypt, Cryptowall, Chimera, and many others. It is especially similar to GNL Locker, which leads us to believe that it may be an updated version of this parasite. It uses the AES-512 encryption algorithm to corrupt your data. This algorithm creates two keys: one of them is used to encrypt your files (public key) and the other one is used for decrypting them (private key). The private key is the one that is offered to you by the cyber crooks. Its price may differ depending on the version of the malware, but it is usually about $250.
The ransom note that appears on your screen after the encryption is complete explains the situation to you and provides you with all necessary information to make the payment in Bitcoins. As we have already stated, paying the hackers is not something we would recommend. You cannot be sure that you will actually receive the decryptor, even if you pay them the ransom. Do not waste your money and eliminate Zyklon Virus from your computer as soon as possible.
